6. Personal data protection

In accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) , the data controller is Pierre-Antoine Lefebvre.

Data collected through use of the site and coaching services includes:

  • Identification data (first name, last name, email address)
  • Sports data (performance, training metrics, goals)
  • Health data voluntarily declared by the user
  • Navigation data (technical cookies, connection logs)
  • Strava data (sports activities, if connected)
  • Connected watch data (Garmin, Suunto): downloaded workouts and start date
  • Contact details of people registered for a public group outing (first name, last name, email, phone)

This data is processed for the following purposes: provision of coaching services, personalisation of training plans, progress tracking, and communication with the athlete.

Data is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Connected watch applications

The Bonne Allure applications for Garmin (Connect IQ) and Suunto watches let you access your training sessions directly on your watch. Installing them and pairing them with your account is entirely voluntary: without an explicit pairing action on your part, no data is exchanged.

Pairing relies on a single-use code, valid for ten minutes, which you enter yourself. It is exchanged for an access token stored on your watch. That token is never stored in clear text on our servers, only as a cryptographic hash. The data exchanged is limited to what is strictly necessary: the list of your sessions for the week, the workout file for the session you select, and the date on which you start it. No location, heart rate or activity data is collected by the watch application.

You can revoke this access at any time by removing the application from your watch or by asking us to do so: the corresponding token is then permanently deleted from our servers.

Group outing registrations

Group outings announced on bonne-allure.com are open to people without an account. The registration form collects a first name, last name, email address and phone number. The legal basis for this collection is the organisation of the outing: the phone number is used to reach you on the day if the weather or meeting point changes, the email to confirm your place.

These details are shared with the coach running the outing and with the platform operator. Registering for an outing does NOT constitute consent to receive marketing communications: only the optional checkbox “I want to receive news from Bonne Allure”, unticked by default, allows later contact. Without it, your details are used solely to organise the outing.

Every confirmation email contains an unsubscribe link that immediately frees your place. Your registration data is kept for twelve months after the date of the outing, then deleted, unless you ticked the contact checkbox.

7. User rights

In accordance with the FADP and GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Right of rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured format
